Fair trade is no longer a designation of some far-off utopia. The environmental situation has reached a threshold that does not leave much time for action. People seem to be becoming conscious of the problem. However, society is not taking action - or is moving too slowly – on this issue. Nevertheless, even though inaction on our part puts in danger future generations, this is not just about the environment. Fair trade should not be seen as an obstacle that imposes expenses without generating any returns in the short term. Fair trade is an opportunity for society to revive progress.
What if, after the industrial revolutions of the XVIII and the XIX centuries and the technological advances of the XX century, the next wave of innovation were an ecological revolution in the XXI century?
